Explaining the Organ Transplant Debate PPT

One of my favorite courses I’ve ever taken at Chapman was Controversial Topics in Biology where we spent the semester learning about current scientific trends and the ethics that get debated. I learned how to distill scientific information free of jargon and present a debate from a research perspective, always being required to complete assignments arguing for both sides of the conversation (even if sometimes there isn’t a real “other side”). This taught me the valuable skill of thinking ahead and understanding where your target audience is coming from on debates that result in life or death consequences.
