Teaching Assistant for CU’s Harry Potter Travel Course

I got to live my dream of being a “Gryffindor Prefect” as a teaching assistant on Chapman’s Harry Potter travel course. The course is unique because all students are studying the series, the class is sorted into the four Hogwarts houses and read different perspectives on the text. I lead the Gryffindors who were focused on using the massively popular books as a cultural language that can be employed to host difficult discussions about race and religion. My thesis paper for the course dives deeper into these concepts.
